Will the construction site be safe?

We will always endeavour to keep our construction sites safe and clean. We are members of Site app pro and will provide you with a safety information pack at the beginning of the building programme.

Can I make changes during the building project?

We welcome changes to enhance your home. Any requests incurring extra labour and/or material costs will be treated as a variation to the contract. All variations will be costed and presented to you for approval - authorising the builder to carry out these changes before any works can begin.

How do we pay for the building project?

You pay on a progress payment system as detailed in your building agreement. One advantage of full contract is you only need to make payments to one company and payments are made at specific stages of the project. When you receive a written contract quote, we will provide you with a payment schedule and also

Are guarantees transferable if I sell my home?

Yes, your guarantee can generally be transferred to the new homeowner. Application for the transfer must be made within 30 days of settlement. Having the guarantee gives the buyer peace of mind and will help to sell your home.

Do I get a guarantee?

The 10-year Master Builders Guarantee will cover you for: Loss of deposit Non-completion of the dwelling Structural defects for 10 years Non-structural defects for 2 years Alternative accommodation You’ll also be covered by the Consumer Act and the Fair Trading Act.

We only use reputable suppliers and subcontractors who know how we work - they know our quality control procedures, respect our time frames and are willing to go the extra mile.

Communication

We’ll always keep you in the loop. Before we begin your building project we hold a pre-construction meeting so you can meet all the key members of your building team. We schedule times and dates for site meetings, so you’re fully informed of progress and any timely decisions that need to be made.

Progress Payment Guarantee

We understand you’re spending a lot of money on this building project, so we take the duty of managing your funds extremely seriously. Your regular progress payments will match the materials and labour needed at each stage of the job, running in line with the work being done rather than lagging behind or sprinting ahead.
